<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosynthetic microalgae culture apparatus which can substantially improve culture efficiency of photosynthetic microalgae. <P>SOLUTION: A culture vessel 1 consists of a translucent material, and stores liquid mixture C of the photosynthetic microalgae and culture solution for culturing the photosynthetic microalgae. The culture vessel 1 is installed in such a manner that a three-dimensional shape formed by the inner face of the culture vessel 1 has a silhouette extending long in the height direction; carbon dioxide is supplied from the lower end in the inner face of the culture vessel 1 by a diffusing means 3; and a large pressure and a long carbon dioxide surfacing time are obtained by a height difference of the liquid mixture C to dissolve a large amount of carbon dioxide in the liquid mixture C and improve the culture efficiency of the photosynthetic microalgae. Further, such culture vessel 1 is installed in water to reduce the load applied to the culture vessel by buoyancy, reduce materials to be used, and reduce the cost of the culture vessel 1 by using an inexpensive material that has low light resistance and heat resistance compared with that installed in air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
