Provided is an image display device wherein it is possible to reduce the rewrite time, and to simplify the software used for rewriting data. A display for a vehicle (1) comprising: a display (10) for displaying image data; a main microcomputer (30) provided with an I/F (interface)(32) whereby it is possible to communicate with external devices as well as with a Flash-ROM a (31); a GDC microcomputer (40) which controls the display (10) while being controlled by the main microcomputer (30) and which is provided with a Flash-ROM b (41) onto which image data is stored; wherein the GDC microcomputer (40) is provided with an I/F (interface)(42) which externally rewrites image data directly. |
