PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance user friendliness in browsing of parts information indicated in a tree-form representing a constitution of units of components included in an apparatus.

SOLUTION: A parts browsing device for browsing information on parts constituting an apparatus comprises: a unit identifying section 14 that stores unit IDs of units to be indicated and obtains a unit ID of a sub unit of a currently indicated unit based on a command to indicate the sub unit; a parts identifying section 13 that stores part IDs of parts specified according to the user's operation; and an image information output section 16 that extracts an image of the specified part highlighted on a currently displayed unit and displays the same. The parts identifying section 13 recognizes a unit including the specified part, and the image information output section 16 extracts an image in which the specified part is highlighted in the recognized unit and causes the same to be displayed.
