<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a conventional purse has no means for changing functions thereof according to the usage, in which storage has to be partially given up or a new purse with larger storage force has to be bought when the existing purse does not have required functions or storage articles exceed the storage force. <P>SOLUTION: The function adding mechanism of the purse includes: a brace installed on a folding purse; and a component having detachable additional functions. The bar-shaped or string-shaped brace 4 with the fixed strength is installed on a fold part 2 of a paper pocket of the folding purse 1 by using a slit 3 at the lower part. The component 5 having various functions is installed on the brace 4, and fixed to the purse body 1. The component 5 is prepared in types with various additional functions according to the necessity, and is replaced according to the usage or preference so as to change the storage force of functions of the existing purse.
