PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content selection apparatus having a simple key display for selecting a desired content that is intuitively operable and not new to users.

SOLUTION: When an up key 31 or a down key 32 is pressed, a cursor 105 moves in the upper direction or the lower direction in a category field 101 displayed on a screen. Commodities included in a category 103 that is pointed by the cursor 105 are divided into multiple packages. Subcategories for packaging the divided commodities are displayed in the category 103. The display of the subcategories are switched by pressing a right key 33 or a left key 34. Accordingly, commodity groups (packages) displayed on the commodity field 100 are also switched.
