<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow image data transmitted by infrared communication to be stored reliably even in a standby state, and to start an entire device in conjunction with the reception of the image data. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply control unit 30 supplies only a light receiving processing circuit 11 with power so as to perform light receiving processing even in a standby state with respect to a light receiving processing circuit 11 and an output processing circuit 20 included in a television device 10. When the light receiving processing circuit 11 receives encoding data transmitted by the infrared communication in the standby state, it decodes them in a decoding processing part 13 to store them to a memory 14 and a microcomputer part 16 in the light receiving processing circuit 11 gives an instruction to have the power supply control unit 30 start power supply to an output processing circuit 20. Also, the microcomputer part 16 gives a main control unit 21 of the output processing circuit 20 an instruction to have data read from the memory 14 after the output processing circuit 20 starts, whereas the main control unit 21 performs output processing of the read data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
