PURPOSE: A method for isolating and purifying kaempferitrin from kenaf leaves is provided to be applied to a natural product isolation and purification. CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating and purifying kaempferitrin comprises: a step of adding a solvent of water, ethanol, methanol, butanol, ethyl acetate, ethyl ether, or chloroform to a dried and sliced sample and isolating; a step of compressing an extract liquid to obtain powder; a step of dispersing the powder in water and adding hexane, chloroform, ether, or petroleum ether solvent to remove oil from the powder; a step of pressing and leaching to elute kaempferitrin; a step of isolating kaempferitrin using salt; and a step of purifying kaempferitrin with a solvent.
