FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: detecting element is in form of a piece of a quartz fibre light guide with internal linear double refraction placed on a circle. The fibre light guide has a structure with optical parameters which periodically recur along the fibre. The periodic structure is in form of a spiral structure with internal linear double refraction. The pitch Ltw of the spiral, beat length Lb of internal linear double refraction, temperature coefficient b of internal linear double refraction, radius R of the cirlce of the piece of fibre light guide, radius r of the cross-section of the fibre light guide, the operating wavelength of the interferometric sensor and refraction index no() of the cladding of the fibre light guide are selected from the relationship ^ EFFECT: reduced dependency of measurement results on temperature. ^ 9 dwg |
