PURPOSE: A location information supplying method and apparatus thereof through a video call are provided to generate a map image for showing a location coordinate to map information. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(Global Positioning System) communication module(210) identifies a location coordinate based on a GPS signal which is received from satellite according to the request of a video call. An image generating module(220) generates a map image by indicating the location coordinate. An interface module(230) transmits the generated map image to a request terminal. A photographing module(240) generates the image data related to the video call.
