Provided is a cellular phone, which effectively inhibits a temperature increase in a battery pack upon the normal or abnormal operation of a battery pack without affecting external appearance of a battery pack and is effective in controlling battery temperature within a normal operation range. A cellular phone(200) fitted with a secondary battery pack(300) has a peltier element(330) installed in contact with at least one surface of a battery cell contained in the battery pack(300). A control part controls the operation of the peltier element(330) to regulate the temperature of the battery pack(300) in a predetermined temperature range on the basis of the temperature detected from the battery pack(300). |
