<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission line protector which is capable of an instantaneous protection operation of a circuit breaker provided on an own-end side for back-up protection of a transmission line when a fault such as a short-circuit occurs, and when there is an accident point on an opposite end side at tentative charging of the transmission line. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission line protector which protects transmission lines 1 and 2 laid between an own-end and an opposite end comprises protective relays 13A and 13B which turn time-limit cooperation for back-up protection off and operate a circuit breaker provided on the own-end side when current change is detected while the operation of circuit breakers 24A and 24B is detected by protective relays 23A and 23B on the opposite end side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
