<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature protecting device and a distribution board which requires reduced installation space while having the same function as conventional examples. <P>SOLUTION: In a temperature protecting device, a temperature detector 1 is installed near by a terminal part while connecting the temperature detector 1 and an annunciator 2 with an external power source (commercial AC power supply AC) in series for detecting an abnormal temperature rise of the terminal part. The temperature protecting device 1 in this embodiment is highly decreased in size since an electronic component such as a control circuit is unnecessary, and is able to reduce its installation space, compared to conventional examples, needed to be protected from heat by housing in a case and such since the control circuits of the conventional examples use the electronic components which are weak against heat (such as microcomputers), and therefore, needed to be increased in size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
