<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cooker configured to prevent hot water from spattering from a steam release hole or prevent a glutinous liquid during cooking rice from blowing out. <P>SOLUTION: The electric cooker includes: a container 1 for heating and boiling a content; and a lid body 3 closing the container 1 and having a steam release passage 2 for externally releasing steam 6 generated from the content heated and boiled. In the vicinity of the upstream of a steam release hole portion 2a of the steam release passage 2, a narrow opening 4 is provided which is formed by narrowing an intermediate part of the steam release passage 2. The narrow opening 4 is provided with a vapor-liquid separation portion 5 for separating water from passing steam, and having: a peripheral wall 5a having a partial periphery opening sideways, and extending in a direction of steam passage from a narrow opening edge 4a; a dam wall 5b facing the area of the narrow opening 4 so that the flow of the steam 6 from the narrow opening 4 is dammed, at the extending end of the peripheral wall 5a; and a returned wall 5e returned toward the narrow opening 4 at an overhung edge 5d toward the peripheral wall opening side of the dam wall 5b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
