<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging head unit capable of stably discharging liquid droplets from a head, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the liquid discharging head unit. <P>SOLUTION: A recording head 1 includes the head 2 and a sub-tank 4, the sub-tank 4 is spatially partitioned by a bulkhead 202 into an ink storage part 22 and a supply flow passage 24. The recording head further includes a partitioning wall 205 disposed extending downward from a top face 22a toward the bulkhead 202 in the ink storage part 22 so that a position of a lower end 205a is lower than a position of an upper end 202a. A liquid storage tank discharging flow passage which is a flow passage of ink from a flow passage inlet formed in a clearance between the lower end 205a of the partitioning wall 205 and the bulkhead 202 through a flow passage 207 in front of the bulkhead, a communication passage 206, the supply flow passage 24, and to a supply flow passage outlet 24e of the supply flow passage 24 communicating with a common liquid chamber 13 has an inverted U shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
