<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve accurate measurement without influence by an environmental temperature, when evaluating a sensing object in a sample solution by measuring a change of oscillation frequency of a quartz oscillator including a quartz oscillation element on whose surface an absorption layer for absorbing the sensing object is formed. <P>SOLUTION: A quartz piece is divided into a first oscillation region and a second oscillation region which independently oscillate. Each of the first oscillation region and the second oscillation region is provided with an electrode, and a first oscillation element and a second oscillation element are configured.
