<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building unit in which a window frame is considerably easily installed and the window frame is installed at an exact position with respect to an opening of a window sash. <P>SOLUTION: A building unit includes a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shaped framework 10 formed by columns 11, upper beams 12 and lower beams 13, two studs 14 provided between the columns 11 adjacent to each other, a window sash 5 installed between the studs 14, a window frame 2 installed corresponding to the window sash 5 and internal wall panels provided on both sides of the window frame 2. The window frame 2 includes vertical members 21 and lateral members 22 so that the window frame 2 is formed into a rectangular shape in front view. The internal wall panels include vertical frames 151 on which vertical members 21 are mounted, separate vertical frames 152 arranged oppositely to the vertical frames 151, and lateral frames 153 and 154 having each one end portion connected to each of upper and lower end portions of the vertical frames 151 and 152.
