<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knockdown camshaft of a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A hole part is opened coaxially with the respective axes on respective end surfaces of a first main shaft and a second main shaft having a cam on the outer periphery. Both ends of a connecting shaft are inserted into both hole parts of the first main shaft and the second main shaft, and the first main shaft and the second main shaft are connected at a predetermined length interval between the respective shafts. A rolling element is arranged between the first main shaft and the second main shaft, and an outer ring member is arranged around the rolling element.
