<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for sorting garbage capable of reliably performing sorting by separating garbage and crushed waste in the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for sorting garbage comprises: an apparatus body 5 which has a charging port 2 for charging mixed waste made by mixing crushed waste such as plastics and papers into slurry-like garbage, a garbage discharge port 3 for discharging the slurry-like garbage and a crushed waste discharge port 4 for discharging the crushed waste; a cylindrical screen 7 which has a large number of holes 6 on a circumferential surface and is arranged in the apparatus body 5 so as to correspond to the garbage discharge port 3; a transfer screw 9 transferring the mixed waste to the cylindrical screen 7 while tapping the mixed waste; and a number of paddles 11 which are projectingly formed on a shaft 10 disposed coaxially with the transfer screw 9 and are disposed so as to transfer the crushed waste separated while tapping the mixed waste in the cylindrical screen 7 toward the crushed waste discharge port 4 and, on the other hand, discharge the slurry-like garbage from the holes 6 of the cylindrical screen 7 to the garbage discharge port 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
