<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coherent optical receiver adjustment method for adjusting a coherent optical receiver so as to correct received coherent light to a proper signal level even when a coherent optical receiver is used in an actual environment. <P>SOLUTION: Wavelength dispersion is given to light for measurement by connecting wavelength dispersion means for giving wavelength dispersion to light between an optical transmitter, which transmits the light for measurement to a coherent optical receiver, and the coherent optical receiver; polarization of the light for measurement transmitted from the optical transmitter is changed; an amplitude of an optical signal outputted from amplitude correction means is measured in accordance with the polarization change processing so as to detect the maximum value of the optical signal amplitude; and the amplitude correction means is adjusted so that the amplitude maximum value becomes a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
