<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mat excellent in flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: The floor mat for automobile has an obverse skin layer and a reverse material layer. A base mat has a through-hole pierced through from the obverse skin layer to the reverse material layer, and plugged by a heel pad material covering the through-hole from the obverse skin layer side and a patch material covering the through-hole from the reverse material layer side. The bending strength of the floor mat for automobile is 0.5 N/cm or less at a location where the heel pad material is present. The through-hole is preferably arranged in an area corresponding to heel moving area. The heel pad material is preferably larger than the through-hole.
