<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for capturing contaminants in a sand basin that can capture a drift object or floating matter and small stones and gravel regardless of size without causing clogging of the screen. <P>SOLUTION: In a screen that extends from the bottom face in the upstream side end section of a sand basin, upward on the hour's highest water level of the sand basin and that captures contaminants mixed in sewage such as rain water that is about to flow in the sand basin, a mesh at the lower part of the screen is made finer than the one at the upper part of the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
