<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus excellent in convenience and usability, which makes it possible to certainly adjust a focus on a user's desired subject by only simple pressing operation. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus including a display means for displaying an image acquired by an imaging means, a touch panel provided on the front surface of the display means, a position information detection means for detecting a pressed position on the touch panel, and an autofocus means (#103) for performing focus control so as to focus on a subject in the pressed position detected by the position information detection means comprises: an area information detection means (#104) for detecting area where the touch panel is pressed; and control means (#105,#106) which, when the touch panel is pressed (#102) and the subject is brought into focus by the autofocus means (#103), makes the display means display an enlarged screen of the image of the pressed area detected by the area information detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
