<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-invasive optical sensor with high portability. <P>SOLUTION: In the non-invasive optical sensor 1, only configuration (a spectroscopic detector 12, a controller 13, a data output module 14 and a power source module 15) necessary to perform a glucose concentration (blood sugar level) detection function and a data output function is implemented, for example, on a few square centimeter base 11. Additionally, optical waveguides 12d, 12f, and 12g in the base 11 guide light from monochromatic light sources 12a1-12a5 to a finger 21, and guide light reflected on the finger 21 to a light receiver 12b, thereby making the optical sensor 1 even smaller and improving the portability even better.
