<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement single sign-on without adding a server in an image formation system including multiple image forming apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A first image forming apparatus 1 (the image forming apparatus 1 which receives a log-in request) among multiple image forming apparatuses 1, 1a retrieves the image forming apparatus with a single sign-on function among the multiple image forming apparatuses 1, 1a, specifies one or multiple second image forming apparatuses 1, 1a with the single sign-on function, performs user authentication processing, based on user identification information included in the log-in request when the log-in request is received from a host device 3, generates a ticket or ticket verification information when the user authentication is successfully performed, transmits the ticket verification information to the second image forming apparatuses 1, 1a, and transmits the ticket to the host device 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
