Disclosed is a vehicle air conditioning device wherein a unit case (10) of an air conditioning unit is formed by a plurality of upper and lower divided cases (23, 24, 25), and wherein the divided cases (23, 24, 25) are integrally connected together with a faucet-like joint section (34) therebetween, said faucet-like joint section (34) being provided on division end faces (30A, 30B, 32). This vehicle air conditioning device is such that a space (35) having a certain height and a certain width is formed in the vertical direction between in-case division end faces (30B, 32) of the divided cases (24, 25), which are first category of divided cases constituting the faucet-like joint section (34), and of the divided case (23), which is a second category of divided case constituting the faucet-like joint section (34); that there is provided an extension wall surface (37) which extends from the position of the division end face (32) of the first category of divided cases (24, 25) to a position which contacts the inner surface (36) of the second category of divided case (23) in such a way as to seal off the space (35); that thereby there is reliably prevented a situation where water which enters the interior of the unit case leaks from a connecting section of a divided case into a vehicle interior; and that as a result, it is possible to improve the reliability regarding the prevention of water leakage.
