<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device for a vehicle having shape and structure for easy holding by a hand to thereby facilitate installing work of the door lock device to a door. <P>SOLUTION: In a door lock device 100 for a vehicle, a housing 90 comprises an outer housing body 91 including a covering part 91a for covering an outside of an electric motor and a worm, an active lever outer shaft supporting portion 91b, and a worm wheel outer shaft supporting portion 91c, and an inner housing body including inner shaft supporting portions of an active lever and a worm wheel. An outside surface of the covering part 91a in the outer housing body 91 and an outside surface of the active lever outer shaft supporting portion 91b are made into a flat surface S1, and an outside surface of the worm wheel outer shaft supporting portion in the outer housing body 91 is made into a recessed surface S2 which is recessed toward inside relative to the flat surface S1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
