COMPOSITION OF ANTIDANDRUFF HAIC CARE COSMETICS WITH BURDOCK EXTRACT

PURPOSE: A hair cosmetic composition containing Arctium lappa L. extract is provided to enhance antibacterial effect against Pityrosporum ovale. CONSTITUTION: A hair cosmetic and pharmaceutical composition for anti-dandruff contains 0.001-10 wt% of Arctium lappa L. extract and 0.001-10 wt% of zinc pyrihione. The MIC(Minimum Inhibition Concentration) of zinc pyrithione and the Arctium lappa L. extract is 4 ppm and 10 ppm, respectively. The MIC of a mixture of zinc pyrithione and the Arctium lappa L. extract is 2 ppm.
