<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration correction device, image formation apparatus, and concentration correction method capable of preventing uneven concentrations in the area outside the area for which correction can be made. <P>SOLUTION: The concentration correction device 41 for correcting the concentration of an LED print head in which a plurality of array chips, on which a plurality of LEDs are disposed, are disposed includes a correction area setting unit 44 which sets the area of which the concentration correction value corresponding to the LED can be corrected from pattern image information read by a test pattern reading unit 43, a correction data generation unit 46 which calculates the concentration correction value of the LED in the area, which can be corrected, from the concentration information corresponding to the LED position in the area which is acquired from the pattern image information and can be corrected, and a correction data determination unit 47 of the area outside the area for which correction can be made for calculating the concentration correction value of the LED in the area outside the area for which correction can be made from the concentration correction values of the LEDs in the array chip unit in the area for which correction can be made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
