TOUCH SCREEN PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A touch screen panel and an image display device including the same are provided to improve touch input sensitivity by decreasing the resistance of sensing patterns and minimize the decrease of transmissivity of light supplied from a display panel. CONSTITUTION: First and second sensing patterns(12a,12b) are connected to a touch active area in a first direction and a second direction. A first electrode layer is located in a touch inactive area outside the touch active area and includes location detection lines(15) connected to the first sensing pattern and the second sensing pattern. The first sensing pattern or the second sensing pattern is made of transparent electrode materials. A second electrode layer is made of opaque electrode materials. The second electrode layer is thinner than the first electrode layer.
