PURPOSE: A backlight unit of a display device is provided to prevent a reflection sheet from being damaged due to a contact of an upper cover. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit comprises a light emitting element, a light guide plate(130) which guides light from the light emitting element, an optical sheet(140) which is arranged on the front side of the light guide plate, a bottom chassis(110) which is placed at the rear surface of the light guide plate, a mold frame(160) which is placed on the front side of the optical sheet, and a contact prevention protrusion(152). The contact prevention protrusion separates the mold frame from the optical sheet. |
