<p>The integrated installation comprises an air separation apparatus, a blast furnace, a unit for preheating the air at top of the cowper type furnace, an adiabatic air compressor (S1, S2, S3), a first pipe to introduce the air towards the preheating unit, a second pipe connecting the air compressor with the air separation device, and a unit (11) for heating water in liquid and/or oxygen form by heat exchange with air for the air separation unit in the second pipe. A pipe is arranged for supplying heated water against the air to a boiler.
