The device has a flotation device (5) placed in an enclosure (14) in a fuselage (15) of an aircraft. The enclosure is provided with a closure flap (18) and electro-magnetic devices (20) providing closure and/or opening of a distressing component such that the distressing component allows ejection of a data recorder (1) under the action of a spring (16). The distressing component is triggered by interpreting digital alarm signal analysis or by action buttons to set security to pilots and crew.
