PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a receipt representing a settlement amount with foreign currency without giving a burden to an operator.

SOLUTION: This card settlement device includes: an acquiring means 1 for acquiring a first settlement amount represented with first currency; a reading means 13 for reading card information recorded on a settlement card used to settle the first settlement amount; a determining means 1 for determining whether the settlement card is a specific card on the basis of the card information; a reading means 1 for reading from a storage device 4 rate information representing a rate between second currency used in an area where the specific card is issued and the first currency when the settlement card is determined to be the specific card; a calculating means 1 for converting the first settlement amount with the rate represented by the read rate information to calculate a second settlement amount; a printing means 14 for printing a receipt; and a control means 1 for controlling the printing means 14 so as to print the receipt displaying the second settlement amount when the settlement card is determined to be the specific card.
