<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biofuel cell where a current collector that is a metal member is easily separable from a battery structure. <P>SOLUTION: A biofuel cell A includes: electrodes 21 and 22 disposed in a battery case 1; and current collectors 3 and 3 exposed outside the battery case 1. The current collectors 3 and 3 are set in partial intimate contact with the electrodes 21 and 22 in a separable manner through openings 4 and 4, which are established in the battery case 1, under a state where leakage prevention means is provided to prevent leakage of a solution in the battery case 1 through the openings 4 and 4. In the biofuel cell A, it is preferable that the electrodes 21 and 22 are formed using a carbon-based material, and that the battery case 1 is formed using a biodegradable plastic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
