<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of breathing of a living body and to stably measure a living body impedance. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring unit 12 time-sequentially generates the measured value ZA of the living body impedance of a subject. A period determining unit 14 determines a period T of fluctuation in the measured values ZA caused in conjunction with breathing of the subject. A calculating unit 16 calculates a determinate value ZB of the living body impedance from the average of the plurality of measured values ZA within the period T. For instance, the calculating unit 16 calculates the average value of all of the measured values ZA within the period T as the determinate value ZB of the living body impedance. An index calculating unit 18 calculates index values X regarding the body composition on the basis of the determinate value ZB of the living body impedance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
