<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized acoustic transducer by which acoustic radiation with low frequency is possible. <P>SOLUTION: The acoustic transducer has: a bending vibration module 7 constituted of at least one bending vibrator consisting of at least one tabular piezoelectric vibrator and a diaphragm; a support member 9 which supports the bending vibration module 7; and an end plate which blocks both edges of the acoustic transducer. A plurality of bending vibration modules 7 are cylindrically arranged. The support member 9 radially extends from the center of the cylindrically arranged bending vibration modules 7, is joined to the edges of each diaphragm of the adjacent bending vibration module 7, and is provided with a notch 20 on the edge of a part of the support member 9. The end plate is provided with an opening hole 4 which penetrates the end plate. The open hole 4 is connected to the other opening hole 4 via a sound generation part 21 constituted of two adjacent support members 9 and the bending vibration modules and the notch 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
