The disclosed solid-state laser device is provided with: a master oscillator which is capable of changing the spectral line width of an outputted laser and which outputs a laser having at least one vertical mode; at least one amplifier disposed on the optical path downstream of the aforementioned master oscillator; a wavelength conversion unit disposed on the optical path downstream of the aforementioned amplifier; a detection unit for detecting the spectrum of the aforementioned laser; and a control unit which, on the basis of the result of the detection of the detection unit, controls the spectral line width of the aforementioned laser light outputted from the aforementioned master oscillator.
