The present invention relates to a system (10) for making a beverage by infusing a measured amount (1) of a material to be infused, said system including: an infusion chamber (7) that is defined by first (42) and second (22) chamber portions, at least one of which is movable; an actuator (40) that is arranged so as to control the closing of the chamber; and a closing device (60) that includes an upstream closing means (61) and a downstream closing means (62) for blocking and enabling, respectively, access to and exit from the infusion chamber. The system is arranged so as to include at least one supply duct (24) that is shaped so as to supply the chamber (7) with fluid to be infused. Said system is moreover characterized in that the first chamber portion (42), rigidly connected to the actuator (40), partially comprises at least said supply duct (24).
