<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book terminal capable of securely managing note data added on the electronic book terminal. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic book terminal, which is connected to an electronic book management server 30 on the Internet 40 which accumulates electronic book data and an company document management server 10 on a local network which accumulates electronic document data, comprises: a note generation part for acquiring electronic book data or electronic document data from the electronic book management server 30 or the company document management server 10 to display the data, and adding arbitrary note data to the electronic book data; and a note management part for storing the added note data in the electronic book management server 30 or the company document management server 10.
