PURPOSE: A manhole for water works and a drainage system is provided to increase load bearing strength and prevent electric leakage and stealing. CONSTITUTION: A manhole for water works and a drainage system is as follows. A ring-shaped groove(5) is formed on the inner circular cover support(4) of a circular edge unit(19), which is protruded from the pedestal(2) of a manhole(1). A rubber ring(6) is mounted on the groove. A plurality of bolt holes(7,7') are formed on the plane of the end of slope reinforcing units(8,8'), which are formed on the outside of the circular edge unit every which way. C-shaped steel reinforcing rails(12,12',12") with holes are arranged on the cover(3) of the manhole. A steel reinforcing plate(11) is welded to the central part of the reinforcing rail to form a load reinforcing beam. |
