PURPOSE: An application execution apparatus and operation control method thereof are provided to simplify processes by downloading separately applications to each apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A video display apparatus downloads one or more applications including the application of an external device from a network server through a first network(S100). The video display apparatus receives an application transmission request from an external apparatus through a second network(S200). The video display apparatus searches the application of the external apparatus among the downloaded applications. The image display apparatus transmits information in which is related to the application to the external apparatus(S300).
