<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for carrying a paper sheet without skew. <P>SOLUTION: The paper carrying device includes a pair of tractor parts supporting a tractor belt by a frame and provided coaxially in the width direction of the paper sheet. The paper sheet having sprocket holes on both sides thereof with sprocket pins of the tractor belt inserted therein is carried by rotation of the tractor belt. The paper carrying device further includes a tractor cover openably/closably mounted on the frame to cover side ends of the paper sheet in which the sprocket pins are inserted, and a reference surface integrally formed with the tractor cover and which recedes from a carrying path of the paper sheet when the tractor cover is closed and blocks the carrying path when the tractor cover is open. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
