Industrial method for preparing all-biodegradable food packaging material herein relates to a method using proline and ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer as plasticizer and compatibilizer respectively, with the processing steps as follows: first, corn starch, potato starch, wheat starch and cassava starch are ultra-micromized through physical granulation so as to improve the fluidness and fillibility, and then a certain amount of proline, ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer and amines commonly used in traditional methods, as crosslinker, are added into for starch modification. The modified starch is extruded through double-screw mechanical alloying extrusion and rolling to produce panels. Processes of vacuum moulding and/or compression molding, among others, are then employed to make starch-based packaging materials. The food packaging material made by this method can be biodegraded completely and meets the Chinese national food hygienic standard while maintaining good mechanical property. By virtue of its eco-friendliness, energy efficiency, low cost and simplicity, the whole process can be undertaken in an industrialized manner.
|
