摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent diffusion of excitons into a quantum dot layer. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid LED has an anode (A), an organic hole transport layer (HTL) for transporting a hole (h) injected into a diode from the anode, a light emission quantum dot layer (BQ), an electron transport layer (ETL), and a cathode (C) for injecting electrons (e) into the transport layer. At least one assembly which is formed of a phosphorescent layer (PH) having an emission spectrum containing at least a part of a absorption spectrum of the quantum dot and a buffer layer (T) for separating the phosphorescent layer from the quantum dot layer is further provided between the hole transport layer and the electron transport layer.
