<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a largest effective light receiving area possible in a solar cell module, and to maintain water cutoff and moisture proof effects at side edges of a solar cell module with a simple structure and manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell element 11 consisting of a transparent electrode film 11a, a photoelectric conversion layer 11b, and a backside electrode film 11c which are laminated in that order is formed on the underside of a translucent substrate 10, while a sealing member 13 and a backside sheet 14 are formed sequentially on the underside of the backside electrode film 11c, thereby sealing the solar cell element 11. In this construction, the sealing member 13 is formed in close contact with and so as to cover the whole of the underside of the backside electrode film 11c and the whole of the peripheral end face 11d of the solar cell element 11 and of the peripheral end face 10d of the translucent substrate 10, and the backside sheet 14 is disposed in close contact with and so as to cover the entire surface of the sealing member 11, except the light receiving face 10a which is the top of the translucent substrate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
