An energy saving method, apparatus and system are provided. The energy saving method includes: querying configuration information of a functional component in the system; judging whether the functional component is in an idle state according to the query result of the configuration information; and performing energy saving operation for the functional component which is in the idle state. When the functional component is in the idle state, the technical solution of the embodiments in the present invention performs energy saving operation for the functional component of the apparatus so as to enable the functional component to operate in an energy saving state, thereby achieving the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. |
