<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labyrinth seal for a turbo engine that is small in the number of seal fins or packing fins compared with a conventional technology, and in which loads applied on the seal fins or packing fins are uniform as far as total pressure ratios are the same. <P>SOLUTION: The labyrinth seal is characterized by comprising one fluid discharging device (40, 50) which is set so that the specific enthalpy (h) of a working fluid is continuously lowered along a throttle direction by discharging the working fluid from the labyrinth seal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
