<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition for a fishing net and a method of manufacturing a fishing net utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin composition used in manufacturing the fishing net includes mixed resin of 85-95 wt.% polybutylene succinate ester resin as an aliphatic polyester resin and 5-15 wt.% polybutylene adipate terephthalate resin. The method of manufacturing the fishing net utilizing includes steps of mixing 85-95 wt.% polybutylene succinate ester resin and 5-15 wt.% polybutylene adipate terephthalate resin using a mixer, and heating the mixture to a temperature of 130-150°C to manufacture a resin compound. The manufactured resin compound is extrusion molded to a pellet form, and thrown into a spinning machine set to a cylinder temperature of 180-230°C to spin a net yarn for the fishing net, the draw ratio of which is set to 6.0-7.0 through multistage drawing.
