<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a connection connecting with a material to be cut in a part of a path corresponding to a target figure. <P>SOLUTION: When a laser cutting nozzle is moved relative to a material to be cut 1 in a path 3 corresponding to a target figure 2 at a cutting speed, an average laser output, an assist gas pressure and a laser beam focus position suitable to cut the material 1, the capability of cutting the material is reduced in a local section to form a connection connecting the target figure to the material under a selected condition that the cutting speed is increased above the cutting speed suitable to cut the material, that the average laser output is reduced below the average laser output suitable to cut the material, that the assist gas pressure is reduced below the assist gas pressure suitable to cut the material, or that the laser beam focus position is moved inward of the focus position suitable to cut the material with respect to the thickness of the material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
