<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having improved on-ice performance and dry performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a plurality of block lands 4 on its tread part, and sipes 5a to 5h formed in at least one of the block lands 4. In a tread surface, each of the sipes 5a to 5h is, as a whole, a primary wave shaped sipe having at least one ridge and one valley.
